Safety in Our Facility
The safety of our guests is our top priority. To ensure that you can enjoy your visit without a care, all rides, facilities, and areas are regularly inspected, maintained, and operated in accordance with applicable safety standards.
Our trained technicians, along with external experts, work daily to ensure that all attractions function safely and reliably. Through clear rules and guidelines, we aim to help ensure that every visitor enjoys a pleasant and safe stay.
Please take a moment to read the following safety information, and during your visit, please always observe the signage on-site as well as the instructions provided by our staff.
Notices at the Rides
Clearly visible information signs are located in front of every attraction. These signs provide information regarding:
The type and operation of the ride
Conditions of use
Height and age restrictions
Health restrictions
Important safety rules during the ride
Please familiarize yourself with this information before using the attraction. It serves your own safety as well as the safety of all guests.
Age, Height, and Companions
For safety reasons, some rides have minimum requirements regarding age, height, or weight. Children below a certain age or height threshold may only use certain attractions when accompanied by an adult. You can identify which attractions are subject to this requirement in our attraction overview by using the "Accompanied by an adult" filter.
You can also enter your child's age and/or height there to see a list of all the attractions your child can use.
These guidelines are based on the manufacturers' technical safety requirements as well as TÜV standards and must be strictly observed. Height markers located in front of the attractions help in assessing height.
Our staff is required to enforce these rules. Please understand that, for safety reasons, no exceptions can be made.
Physical Condition and Health Considerations
Use of our rides requires a physical condition that permits safe participation.
For safety reasons, use of the attractions is prohibited for:
persons under the influence of alcohol or otherwise impaired;
pregnant women, where specifically excluded for the respective attraction;
persons with heart, circulatory, back, or other health conditions for whom the movements of the ride could pose a risk.
Please carefully observe the specific safety instructions posted at each attraction. In case of doubt, we recommend refraining from using the ride or seeking medical advice beforehand.
Our staff are authorized to deny guests access to a ride if safety concerns exist.
Information for Guests with Disabilities
We strive to ensure a pleasant stay for as many guests as possible. However, due to technical and safety-related requirements, not all rides can be utilized by every individual.
Therefore, please observe:
the specific safety guidelines posted at each attraction;
information regarding physical requirements and necessary movements;
the instructions provided by our on-site staff.
Our staff members will be happy to assist you in determining which attractions can be safely utilized.
Security Checks and Technical Inspections
All rides are subject to regular maintenance and safety inspections. These include, among other things:
daily visual and functional checks prior to the start of operations
regular technical maintenance performed by specialized personnel
periodic inspections conducted by independent experts
verification of safety-critical components, such as braking, control, and restraint systems
The inspection intervals are determined by the type, size, and operational load of the respective ride and are carried out in accordance with applicable statutory regulations and technical standards.
Tips for Parents and Chaperones
Children often perceive risks differently than adults. Please help us ensure the safety of all guests:
Keep your children in sight at all times.
Ensure that children only use attractions suitable for them.
Accompany younger children on designated rides.
Never place or lift children over barriers or safety zones.
Follow the instructions of our staff at all times.
Loose Objects, Luggage, and Action-Cam Recordings During the Ride
Loose or bulky items can become dangerous projectiles during the ride and are therefore not permitted on many attractions.
This includes, in particular:
Bags and loose items
Selfie sticks or unsecured cameras
Mobile phones or recording devices held in the hand
Pointed or bulky objects
Please stow personal belongings in the designated storage areas.
Filming or taking photographs during the ride is permitted only if expressly authorized and if the devices are securely fastened. The on-site staff will make the final decision regarding this.
As a general rule, animals are not permitted on rides.
Playground Safety
Our playgrounds and climbing areas are also planned, constructed, and operated with the utmost care. All facilities at Jaderpark comply with applicable safety standards and undergo regular maintenance by our technicians, as well as additional inspections by independent experts.
At the same time, playing, climbing, and exploring are inseparable parts of a child's development—essential for building their own skills and learning to navigate movement and assess potential risks. Consequently, a certain degree of age-appropriate risk cannot be entirely eliminated in playgrounds; indeed, it constitutes a vital component of learning and motor development.
We therefore ask all parents and accompanying adults to supervise their children attentively and to select play areas that are appropriate for the children's age, size, and abilities. The duty of supervision rests with the accompanying adults throughout the entire visit.
Safety at Our Animal Enclosures
At Jaderpark, the respectful and safe treatment of our animals is our top priority. Our enclosures and facilities are designed to meet both the needs of the animals and the safety requirements of our guests.
Please remain behind the designated barriers and fences at all times, and maintain a safe distance. For safety reasons, climbing over barriers or reaching into enclosures is strictly prohibited. Even though many animals may appear calm and tame, they remain living creatures with natural instincts.
To ensure the safety of both humans and animals, we also ask that you feed the animals only in designated areas where it is expressly permitted, and exclusively with the food provided for this purpose.
Our staff members are always happy to assist you should you have any questions.
