New arrivals among the capybaras

Our capybaras delighted us with the arrival of their offspring on 1 February. The pair of twins are both females. They are now happily romping about in the large outdoor enclosure for South American animals. Curious by nature, they have already made friends with our tapirs. When the weather isn’t so good, they can be seen through the large windows in their day room.
