Invitation to Feeding Demonstrations and Hands-on Feeding Sessions
Get to know our animals up close. Our zookeepers introduce their charges during short public feeding sessions.
They provide information regarding the handling, care, and specific needs of the animals entrusted to their care. What does life in a zoo entail? How is a zoological garden organized? Depending on the situation, visitors may even be allowed to offer small treats. Participation is included in the admission price.

Petting and Caring for Animals
We are frequently asked whether it is possible to give the opportunity to pet, feed, or care for specific wild animal species as a gift for various occasions.
We must answer this question with a "No."
We do offer opportunities for closer contact—where feasible—during our public events (see above). However, for a variety of reasons (including animal health, hygiene, and safety), we are unable to provide any additional opportunities beyond these.
We ask for your understanding.
