In front of our main restaurant, the "Flamingo Oasis", there has stood a lime tree for almost 300 years. It was a popular destination even in historical times, long before the former zoo existed.
Today, you can watch a flock of Chilean flamingos whilst stopping for a break here. There is also a sandpit for young children opposite. This allows parents to take a break in peace and keep a close eye on their children as they play.
